Indiana Network for Higher Education Ministries (INHEM) is sponsoring the College Transition Seminar with Derek Melleby. This seminar for incoming college students, high school junior and seniors, and their parents will be held from 7:00 – 9:30 PM on Monday, August 1 at Second Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis.
INHEM and co-sponsor, Coalition for Christian Outreach (CCO), along with the College Transition Initiative are excited to provide this informative and engaging evening for incoming college students and high school junior and seniors AND their parents. Although there is no fee for this seminar, participants are asked to register ahead of time.
Melleby encourages students to claim their own faith in Christ and to do so by asking deep questions. Yet, his approach is very engaging for students. It is suitable for students and parents from a variety of Christian traditions. Youth ministers, youth group volunteers, high school Sunday school teachers, campus ministers, other clergy, and other church members who are interested in this topic are also welcome.
