Keeping The Spirit Alive: Resources for Effective Student Ministries.
Dr. Jim Lo
“All of us from IWU left talking about how refreshing it was to be at the conference… and making connections. We especially appreciated Benson’s talk, the seminar on prayer and I loved Jaree’s talk on fund raising.”
- Dr. Jim Lo the Dean of the Chapel - Professor

"The theme that I see as a consistent thread through the different facets of my life and work is the idea that it really isn't about me. The work that I do, the resources I have, it should all be for the glory of God.
The idea of being part of a larger story serves to remind me of the small but important role that I have to play. I am not alone and it is not up to me to determine the future. God is the one weaving everything together in his time and purpose.
As humans, we do not always see what the end result will be, but that is why we are not the authors of the story. We are simply part of a greater work."
Mission of INHEM
The dictionary defines Vocation as a strong feeling of suitability for a particular career or occupation. Where are your strong feelings?
“The 2010 Kids and Careers Survey found that 84 % of teens said they’d forego getting that perfect job for the opportunity to make a difference in the world.”
Most people realize the world has needs. Here at INHEM we help students discover how they can engage to meet those needs. Using their faith and their passion, we invite them to explore where God is calling them and expand their horizons of what they can accomplish.

Exploring Calls
Our calling is to help students find theirs. INHEM seeks to change the world -one student at a time- through paid internships that give students the opportunity and freedom to explore their call and discover where their passions and gifts intersect with the needs of the world.
Expanding Horizons
Our ministry is to undergird the people and organizations that are committed to college students' spiritual lives. INHEM provides meaningful events, resources, and consultation that open new opportunities - expanding horizons for those who serve students.
